Survived to Tell

“Survived to Tell” began as a stand-alone project in immediate response to the atrocities on October 7th. An Instagram page for survivors to share their stories, the platform quickly gained traction, reaching 67K followers and 2.1M views in just days. Over the past year, the project has grown significantly, incorporating survivor delegations and VR technology to create immersive experiences that engage global audiences. This transformation has turned “Survived to Tell” into a powerful brand and educational tool, leveraging the ISRAEL-is methodology of authentic storytelling to change perspectives of Israel around the world. As Israel continues to face new threats, we are expanding the Survived to Tell portfolio beyond October 7th survivors. Our new VR footage, currently in development, will document the realities of northern communities like Kiryat Shmona and Metula, along with personal testimonies from Druze survivors in Majdal Shams. These additions will ensure that Survived to Tell remains relevant, offering a more complete picture of Israel’s challenges. By sharing these stories of resilience, we aim to amplify their voices and foster greater empathy and global awareness.
