We are an international project driven by a deep belief in the power of the sea and surfing as a tool for healing, empowerment, and growth for women and girls of all backgrounds. Our ambition is to create therapeutic surfing programs for women who have experienced trauma, at-risk girls, victims of sexual assault, women who have escaped prostitution, bereaved mothers, families of kidnapped children, and victims of war—every woman and girl who can find healing in the sea, a sense of belonging, and a new choice in life. In each session, participants experience guided surfing alongside an emotional process in a supportive group. They learn to face fear, experience success through the body, regain self-confidence, and build true resilience that stays with them beyond the sea. Our first project is already underway with at-risk girls, and our vision is to expand and reach more and more people who need this tool—to know they belong, that they are strong, that they have a chance.
