The Yahalom Foundation serves as a home for the Yahalom Unit veterans. It assists them in civilian life and works to improve their well-being as well as contribute to Israeli society. In this war, Iron Swords’, the IDF first revealed the mission and role of the Yahalom Unit, which oversees the most complex IDF missions. The Unit specializes in explosives and handling improvised explosive devices (IEDs). The battlefield extends both above and but more importantly underground where the hostages are held, where the enemy is hiding, and where the missiles threatening Israel are concealed. Yahalom veterans are among Israel’s finest, having undergone one of the most challenging and demanding military training and service, which required multidimensional skills, professionalism, versatility, courage, and unique technological abilities. Routinely, the foundation focuses on supporting bereaved families, assisting wounded veterans, helping lone soldiers after their service is completed, providing aid to soldiers dealing with traumatic combat experiences, mentoring discharged soldiers and preparing them for civilian life, offering educational scholarships, and building a community that engages in volunteer activities to strengthen the State of Israel. The Yahalom Foundation’s activities are made possible thanks to the donations it raises in Israel and abroad. These contributions directly impact the lives of Yahalom veterans and their families. Through the foundation’s various programs, we are making a significant difference in the lives of those who have sacrificed so much for our country. We invite you to join the Yahalom Friends Association, become part of our family, and be our partner in supporting our soldiers and investing in Israel’s future. Let's help them return to being the fathers and husbands they were before the war. For more information: ed@yahalomfoundation.com www.yahalomfoundation.com
