Sunrise-Israel brings the joys of childhood to children with cancer and their siblings in Israel.

In the heart of every child is a spark of joy, a light that illness cannot extinguish.

The mission of Sunrise-Israel is to restore the joys of childhood to children with cancer & their healthy siblings, through unique summer day-camps, & year-round informal educational, joyful in-hospital programs, all provided completely free of charge.

Our programs are designed to build personal & family resilience, while helping children maintain & develop essential social skills during one of the most challenging periods of their lives. By reducing isolation & strengthening emotional well-being, our programs become a vital element in the children’s healing journey, while providing them with the necessary support for successful reintegrating into everyday life, upon recovery.

Since 2010, Sunrise-Israel has served over 10,000 children with cancer (Jewish & Arab together) along with their healthy siblings, ages 0–17, from more than 70 communities across Israel.
