The Oded Brigade serves as the primary reserve infantry force of the Golani Division - one of the IDF’s most storied and battle-hardened formations. Its soldiers have fought in every major conflict since Israel’s founding from the War of Independence and the Six-Day War to the Yom-Kippur War and, most recently, Operation Iron Swords. Since the outbreak of war on October 7th, the Oded Brigade has recorded more reserve duty days than any other infantry brigade in the IDF, a clear reflection of its relentless fighting spirit, deep sense of duty, and unwavering dedication to defending the State of Israel. The Oded Spirit Association is dedicated to preserving the legacy, brotherhood, and core values of the Oded Brigade. Our mission is to foster a strong, intergenerational community of fighters, serving as a central home for connection, support, and recognition.
