Lone Front is the first and only nonprofit in Israel dedicated to lone female combat soldiers — both during their military service and after. We provide them with everything they lack: a safe home, academic and career guidance, personal mentorship, and practical tools for civilian life. Behind every lone female soldier is a complicated childhood — often without family support or financial stability.
And yet, they choose to serve in combat roles and complete intense military training. But once their service ends, they’re left to face life on their own, with no safety net. Many end up putting aside their dreams of higher education, entrepreneurship, or a career — simply to cover basic living expenses. Lone female soldiers represent one of the most promising groups of Israel’s next generation — resilient, mission-driven, with strong work ethics and real leadership potential. Lone Front was created to bridge the gap and give them a fair starting point for a life of stability, growth, and self-fulfillment.
My name is Moriya Azulay — a former lone combat soldier, an international speaker, and a Government & Diplomacy student at Reichman University. I founded Lone Front after going through this myself. In the middle of my exam period, I found myself with no place to live and I couldn’t find a single organization that supports discharged lone female combat soldiers. So, I decided to create one. Lone Front is here to make sure that every woman who fought for her country… has a home to come back to.
