The International Center for Research and Commemoration of the October 7 Tragedy and the Swords of Iron War will fulfill a critical role in understanding the truth about the greatest tragedy experienced by the State of Israel and in promoting correction and lessons learned. This will be achieved through a deep understanding of the failures and the formulation of policy and strategic recommendations aimed at strengthening Israel’s national security.

In addition, the center will engage in documentation, data collection, historical preservation, heritage and educational content relating to heroism and national revival. It will serve as the equivalent of “Yad Vashem” and as a national and international address for issues relating to the October 7 tragedy, while strengthening Israel’s public diplomacy efforts in Israel and around the world.
