BECOMING

BECOMING is a women-led excellence fund, built by women for women, supporting young women ages 20–30 as they build independent adult lives without a reliable family, financial, or professional safety net.

The women we support include graduates of foster care and residential programs, former lone soldiers, young women who made Aliyah alone, orphaned young women, and women from unstable family backgrounds.

While their paths differ, they share one thing: they have already demonstrated resilience, determination, and leadership.

They have overcome adversity, adapted to new environments, served their communities, and made difficult decisions at an age when most young adults still have someone to lean on.

They are not defined by what they lacked, but by what they have already built despite it.

Yet when military service ends, residential care or foster care concludes, or educational programs finish, the formal support around them often disappears.

Most young adults can turn to family for advice, financial help, housing, professional introductions, or reassurance during difficult moments.

These young women often cannot.

Without that support, a single crisis, such as a housing problem, unexpected expense, legal challenge, or personal setback, can interrupt education, close a professional door, or force a young woman into survival mode just as she is building her future.

Too often, talent is lost not because of a lack of ability, but because support was missing at the critical moment.

BECOMING was created to change that.

My name is Inesa Bass, and this mission is personal.

After making Aliyah, I grew up without a stable family home, moving between foster families and residential care settings.

At 18, I enlisted in the IDF as a lone soldier and entered adulthood without the safety net most young people rely on.

I know what it means to build a life without support, and how much can change when one person chooses to believe in you and open the right door.

That belief is the foundation of BECOMING.

We provide long-term support combining personal mentorship, legal and financial guidance, emotional support, practical life skills, career development, community, and access to a network of women, companies, and organizations that can create real opportunities.

We are not here to rescue women.

We are here to invest in women who have already proven their potential.

Every young woman deserves at least one person in her corner.

Every talented woman deserves the opportunity to build her future without being held back by circumstances beyond her control.
