BALEV - Lone Soldiers for Lone Soldiers

BALEV is a community founded by lone soldiers, for lone soldiers. Our goal is to create a warm, supportive and connected social environment that provides a real sense of belonging throughout military service.

What We Do

BALEV organizes social events, trips, conferences, workshops and holiday meals. All activities are built by listening to the needs of lone soldiers and create a framework that offers calm, social connections and a strong community experience.

Our WhatsApp Community

Our community includes hundreds of lone soldiers in dedicated WhatsApp groups that provide support and assistance in a variety of areas. Among the active groups:

1. Financial Warrior - tools and support for financial management
2. Furniture for Donation - assistance for soldiers who need equipment or are moving apartments
3. Connection to Professionals - volunteers and professionals who help free of charge or for a symbolic fee
4. Additional groups opened according to needs that arise from the community

The community creates connections between people walking the same path and provides a sense of home and belonging.

Why BALEV Was Created

My name is Eli Lasri. I enlisted as a lone soldier in the Oketz unit and experienced firsthand the social and emotional challenges that come with serving without close family support. Through this personal journey, I understood how important it is to have a community that supports the person, not only the soldier.

This is how BALEV was born: a community based on mutual help, sharing, connection and people who go through the same reality together.
