As U R - your own way

As U R - Your Own Way program has been operating since 2023 and is the first flagship initiative of As U R. The program aims to guide former female IDF officers, who have completed significant military service, in finding their purpose in the workforce by developing meaningful careers and advancing women to positions of influence. It is designed for women with ambition, courage, and an entrepreneurial spirit, helping them find their personal purpose in civilian life.

As U R was born out of the understanding that women who held broad, responsible, and meaningful roles in the military at a young age often struggle to find a similar sense of purpose and meaning in civilian life. The program focuses on translating the skills and capabilities they gained in the military into the professional world - serving as both a personal and group process, and a bridge toward continued meaningful action in civilian life. Through group meetings with peers and a personal mentoring process led by top mentors who hold key and influential positions across various sectors of the job market, it creates a rich and transformative journey - an incubator for courage, personal growth, and the discovery of one’s inner grit.

Each year, As U R runs four cohorts, each consisting of two stages: group sessions and a personalized mentoring process. Around 100 female career-service veterans participate annually, receiving over 2,000 hours of one-on-one mentoring from senior women leaders in the Israeli economy. More than 85% of graduates integrate into the job market - either during the program or upon its completion across a variety of sectors.
