Soul talk farm- A Therapeutic farm
The uniform comes off.
Reserve duty ends.
They return home — to their families, their jobs, their everyday lives.
But for many Israeli reservists, coming home does not mean the battle is over.
After months of intense military service, many reservists and their families continue to live with hypervigilance, emotional distance, difficulty reconnecting, and the challenge of returning to everyday life.
Things that once felt simple can suddenly feel different.
And sometimes, it is only when the fighting stops that the real struggle begins.
Some are not formally recognized by the system. Others are not ready for — or do not feel comfortable entering — a conventional treatment setting.
None of them should have to face this alone.
SoulTalk Farm was established in the aftermath of October 7 by veterans of Israel’s elite Air Force Unit 669.
We created a rehabilitative agricultural farm for reservists and their families — a place where people who understand the realities of combat firsthand work alongside trauma professionals to provide an accessible, human, stigma-free path toward recovery.
Here, healing does not always begin in a therapy room.
Sometimes it begins with your hands in the soil.
Standing quietly beside a beehive.
Working with wood.
Moving your body and becoming aware of your breath.
Creating something and feeling useful again.
Sitting beside people who understand without needing an explanation.
And through doing, conversation begins.
Our model brings together nature, peer community, hands-on creation, physical activity, and professional therapeutic support.
The farm provides a safe environment where participants can gradually rebuild trust in themselves and others, strengthen their ability to cope, and reconnect with everyday life.
The work itself becomes part of the therapeutic process.
Working side by side, engaging with nature, and belonging to a group allow participants to practice emotional regulation, cope with hypervigilance, recognize patterns, rebuild confidence, and rediscover a sense of connection and purpose.
Hundreds of reservists and family members have already come through SoulTalk Farm.
They have found more than activities or therapy.
They have found a place for the soul.
A community.
A place where they are understood.
But many more still need a place like this.
Your support allows us to open the farm to more reservists and families, expand our programs, provide professional therapeutic support, and ensure that financial circumstances never stand between someone who served and the support they need.
They left their homes, their families, and their everyday lives when they were needed most.
Now, as they find their way home, we have the opportunity to stand beside them.
Together, we can make sure no one has to make that journey alone.
