Strong Heart – Supporting Our Heroes' Return to Life

Since October 7, thousands of soldiers have returned home - but for many of them, the war never truly ended. The memories, tension, and emotional weight continue long after the uniform comes off, following them into everyday life. In the past year, Israel has seen a troubling rise in psychological crises among soldiers, including a growing number of suicides and suicide attempts. Many are still fighting a silent internal battle, searching for a place to breathe, reset, and begin finding their way back.

Strong Heart was created from a simple belief: a country is only as strong as the people who defend it. Through guided work with horses, community support, and a space free of judgment, we help soldiers regain balance, reduce stress, and reconnect with themselves. Horses respond not to words, but to what is real — and through that connection, something begins to shift.

For those who need ongoing support, we created “Second Home,” a long-term community for soldiers coping with trauma and the lasting effects of war. Our goal this year is to reach 800 more soldiers and give them the support they deserve. They carried the weight for all of us. Now it’s our turn. Join us — together, we help them find their way back.
